When to Set the Christmas Table?
Preparation is key when hosting Christmas dinner. There is so many things to think about from cooking the dinner to who sits where at the table. The best time to set the table for Christmas Dinner is the day before. You will be able to check the cutlery and glasses are clean.
1. Choose a Table Cloth or Runner
The first thing to decide is whether you want to use a table cloth, runner or both. A table cloth a simple way to elevate the look of your table. When choosing your table consider the size of your table to make sure it fits. If you choose to add a table runner pick one that complements the colour of your tablecloth. Its best to use a neutral toned table cloth and a statement table runner. Lay the table runner down the centre of the table.

7. Finishing Touches
Adding a place card holder sprig of holly or Christmas bauble to their place setting can really elevate your table and your guests will love that you have gone the extra mile. I like to add a place card holder is a great way to sit everyone where you want them sit.
A lot of the time people wonder where do the crackers go on the table? I like to add the crackers as the final touch. you can either place them to the left of your folk or above the dessert spoon which is above your placemat.
