What to avoid when cleaning

Cleaning appliances can be really tricky if you don’t know what you’re doing, you could damage or scratch the surface if you use the wrong materials.

  • If you’re wiping the surfaces always go with the grain, if you go against the grain it will cause unwanted streaks.
  • Never use abrasive materials to clean stainless steel, such as wire wool, sponges, bleach, ammonia or glass cleaner as this can damage the surfaces.
  • Oil based cleaners are also something you should avoid, over time they highlight fingerprints and dust, which can be hard to remove.
