Choosing the best lighting for your space can completely change the aesthetic, I recommend choosing soft warm lighting if your wanting to create a relaxing atmosphere. Another great option is to add wall sconces either side of your mirror to create balance and draw your eye to the mirror. Adding some globe style lights around your vanity area, gives a classic Hollywood feel to your bathroom, creating a elegant timeless vibe.

I have been truly obsessed with bathroom tray, they are perfect for creating a spa like feel to your bathroom. The one I have has a place to put your book if your wanting to relax and read in the bath. I like to decorate my bath tray with some pretty flowers and a decorative candle. It looks so pretty.
3. hang a chandalier

Nothing looks more chic and elegant than a beautiful chandelier. They always give a luxurious feel. You don’t have to spend a lot to create this look. There are some really stunning and affordable options to choose from. I recommend choosing one that complements the size of your bathroom, choose a smaller chandelier if your bathroom doesn’t have a lot of room. It will keep the balance to your bathroom.
4. Lay a beautiful rug

A decorative rug adds warmth and texture to your bathroom. Choose one that compliments the colour palette in your bathroom keeping everything cohesive. If you don’t want to add a rug a bath mat works really well.
5. Hang artwork

Picking out artwork is personal preference and can really show your personality. If you have a minimalist style bathroom, a well chosen piece of art can make the room pop. Alternatively, you might want to add a gallery wall with black and white photographs to add a focal point in your bathroom.
6. Decorate with wallpaper

How stunning is this wallpaper? I absolutely love how this looks. One way of incorporating colour into your bathroom is by adding a feature wall. Choosing a bold print, creates intrigue and draws the eye. Alternatively, by opting for a dainty print, it will add a rustic charm to your space.

Bringing plants into your space, adds touches of colour which can bring your bathroom to life. When I think about the time I have spent in a spa, there are always decorative plants which makes you feel more relaxed.
When you deciding which plants to place in your bathroom there a few things you need to consider. How much light you have, how humid your bathroom gets and how much space you have for your plants to grow. Succulents or snake plants thrive in bathrooms as they love the humid atmosphere.

One of my favourite ways to elevate my bathroom is to decant my favourite beauty products into pretty containers. Another way to up level your bathroom is by adding some decorative containers, such as glass jars for cotton balls or roll your face clothes and put them into a wicker basket for that spa like feel.

One thing you’ll notice when you visit a spa, its there’s no unsightly clutter! To help you relax everything that is on display has been put there for a purpose. When you are thinking about adding decor to your bathroom, less is more. Try to be intentional with the items you choose. In my bathroom, I like to leave a couple of decorative bottles that I have decanted from the original product bottles and the rest to my bathroom products I store in a bathroom cabinet.
