I love finding new cleaning essentials, or should I say, I love finding cleaning essentials that will make cleaning easier and save time! If you’re moving into a new home, you’re probably making lists of all the things you need to make moving go smoothly.
Whether this is your first home and you need to get your cleaning supplies together or you are looking to add some different cleaning essentials to the ones you already use. Here are my top picks to keep your home sparkling you won’t want to be without!

1. Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum
One of the most used cleaning gadgets is my vacuum. I couldn’t be without one. The Shark cordless stick vacuum is so good, once I tried it, I couldn’t be without it! It’s light weight and easy to store. You’ll love how the hair wrap technology prevents hair from getting stuck. It’s so easy to manoeuvre and clean hard to reach areas.
2. Dustpan & Brush
A dustpan and brush is such a staple every home. It seems so basic, but I use mine so often. Easy to sweep up dust and dirt. This is definitely a must have!
3. Microfibre Cloths
Another must have is a micro fibre cloth, you can use them to clean any surface. No more using paper towels. They are super absorbents and they are great for using dry or damp. Once you have finished, simply throw them in the washing machine and reuse. After cleaning you’ll be left with a streak free finish.
4. Swiffer Duster
This swiffer duster has been an absolute game changer. No more struggling to reach the ceiling or tops of cabinets. Before I used this, I found it really hard to clean behind my radiators and reach the cobwebs that accumulate in the corners of the rooms. Now there super quick and easy to clean.

The finish dishwasher tablets always leave my dishes, pots and pans clean and like new. Love how they smell once they have been washed in the machine. Plus it doesn’t leave a residue on the dishware once it has finished.

Washing up liquid is a staple in every house. I use fairy lemon original, it gets my dishes super clean and grease free! Love how this smells.
11. Antibacterial Disinfectant Surface Cleaner
I couldn’t be without this antibacterial disinfectant. You can use this on nearly every surface throughout you house, not just the kitchen. Once you have washed up and put everything away spray this on your surfaces and it will leave them clean and sanitised.

You can’t go wrong with this oven cleaner, it’s simple and easy to use. I use this every time I clean my oven and it always leaves it clean and grease free. One of my favourite things about this is how easy it cleans the oven wire racks, simply put them in the bag provided and pour in the solution. You’ll love how clean your oven is when you have finished.

I find it’s easier to buy kitchen sponges in a pack and a lot cheaper. You can use them on all surfaces from your bathroom sink to the kitchen hob, to clean any messes.

Using rinse aid in your dishwasher will completely change how your plates and cups look and feel when they come out of the dishwasher. Mine used to be streaky and leave water marks, but since using rinse aid they ae now sparkly and look like new.

This is truly one of my favourite cleaning products. It’s so easy to use and thoroughly cleans your toilet. If you live in a hardwater area, you’ll love how great it is at removing limescale and other stains. Plus, you’ll love how nice it leaves your toilet smelling.
16. Duck Toilet Deep Action Gel
When it comes to toilet cleaners, I find the duck toilet deep action gel works really well. It removes stubborn limescale and leaves a nice pine scent. You don’t have to much scrubbing to get your toilet sparkling.

17. Washing pods
There is nothing nicer than clean fresh laundry. A few years ago I changed to using pods from washing liquid and now it is my go to. They are so easy to throw in with your washing and they don’t leave a mess!
18. Fabric Conditioner
Another great laundry room must have is fabric conditioner. I always use the comfort sunshine days or blue skies as I love the smell and how soft my sheets feel after using this.
19. Tumble Dryer Sheets
Once you have tried these, you won’t be able to stop. They leave your clothes smelling amazing!
20. Bleach Free Stain remover
The vanish stain remover is my go to for all stains and spills. From wine to coffee it removes everything. I have used this to pre-treat clothes and added it when washing them. Both ways have left my whites brighter and colours more vibrant while removing the stains.
21. Colour Catcher Colour
Once I started using these I couldn’t go back! I use them on every cycle. Just throw one in your machine with your washing and they will catch any colours. Before using these, I would separate my washing into different loads, whites, darks and colours. Now they all go in together.
