How to apply lipstick to stay all day
There are a few steps you can take to help your lipstick stay on longer. First, use a lip scrub, gently massage it onto your lips. This will remove any dead skin cells. If you don’t have a lip scrub you can mix together honey and sugar. Next apply lip balm to moisturise your lips. Then use a lip primer, this will create an even base by filling in large pores. Lastly, add a light layer of foundation.

The Fenty Beauty Icon Velvet Liquid lipstick leaves a matt finish. I found it was really easy to apply. I love the colour as is was really vibrant. It has a creamy whipped texture that was non drying. To get the best results after applying I blotted it with a tissue.
I love that this lipstick is so highly pigmented and the formula felt lightweight and airless. I found after wearing the lipstick all day it was long lasting and it didn’t move all day!

The NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment is a liquid formula. I love the way this lipstick feels when it’s been applied. It’s creamy and weightless. It comes with a doe-foot applicator which makes applying it really easy. Once applied it stays all day leaving you with a matte finish that looks beautiful.

The Clinique Pop Longwear Lipstick is long lasting with a built in primer. This helps when applying to get a smooth application. I love how easy it is to apply as it glides of effortlessly. This lipstick comes in 36 shades which are highly pigmented and gives you plenty to choose from. Once applied The Clinique lipstick lasts for unto 8 hours. I found even after eating it didn’t budge.
4. Maybelline SuperStay inyl Ink Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick
The Maybelline SuperStay Liquid Lipstick is a great affordable option. It has 4 great shades that are bright and vibrant. One of my favourite things about this lipstick is how it looks once applied. It gives a cross between matte and gloss. I found it wasn’t sticky after it had dried. When applying you can use the dofer applicator to get an even look. After letting it dry (which takes a little time) The Maybelline Lipstick didn’t move. I wore it all day (including lunch and dinner). This is definitely one of my go to lipsticks.
5. RARE BEAUTY Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream
The Rare beauty Lip Souffle Lip Cream comes in 12 beautiful shades. It has a buildable formula that has a soft matt finish. The formula is an air whipped cream that leaves your lips feeling hydrated. It has a creamy feel that locked in moisture. When I wore this it lasted throughout the day. I went out for dinner and didn’t need to reapply. There was no smudging and it was transfer proof.
6. KVD Beauty Everlasting Transfer-Resistant Lipstick
I love how pigmented KVD Beauty Everlasting Transfer-Resistant Lipsticks is. The formula has been made to be water proof. It comes in 21 bright and bold shades. The applicator has a thin tip to make it easy to apply. These lipsticks mean business! Once applied they don’t move all day. whether you are going out for breakfast or going out for the night they will stay put.
7. HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Atomic Shake Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick
If you’re looking for a lipstick that won’t move, the HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick is perfect. This lipstick gives a matt finish that will lasts all day. When applying, apply an even layer and allow to dry, there is no need to blot. After applying you won’t need to reapply all day. I love how it locks in the colour and stays vibrant throughout the day.

The Urban Decay Vice lipstick is made from a vegan formula and has beautiful packaging. When applying this lipstick went on smoothly and left my lips feeling soft. I loved that it stayed on all day with no smudging or bleeding.
This lipstick has a creamy formula and gave a matt finish. It is moisturising and only had a little transfer. After wearing this lipstick all day the colour was still vibrant and bright.
